Peruse through our stand by the registers at our storefront and you'll discover a bevy of Boulder-made goods. From Alpine Start's premium instant coffee to Lineage Seeds' climate-proof seeds, we love supporting local businesses within our community. A long-standing favorite of ours is Pangea Organics.
This line of nourishing natural products (check out their luxurious lip balms and minimally-packaged soap bars) is rooted in founder Joshua Onysko's passion for sustainable travel. Since launching 16 years ago, Onysko has made it his mission to build a business that cares about improving the earth and engaging stakeholders. As Onysko shares: "I wanted to create a company that embodied what businesses should be doing for a more sustainable future."
To that end, Onysko endeavors to embed the "know thy farmer" ethos into his approach to sourcing his ingredients. Onysko works with a small family in Southern Oregon, for example, that harvests seaweed by hand (a time intensive process that ensures that these vital organisms aren't severely damaged during harvest). This attention to detail and deep respect for the environment is part of why Pangea resonates so deeply with consumers: more and more people want to be as aware of what they put on their skin as they are of what they ingest into their body.
At Wonder, sourcing ethically and sustainably is at the core of our model. That's why we love to sell goods from companies like Pangea who believe in taking a holistic approach to nourishing our community and taking care of our environment.
